BIK movies won't play, and are replaced by black screens (with cursor)

I have vista btw, and have made sure to install properly and replace the mss32.dll file in my kotor directory

Try downloading a player which plays .bik files. I know it probably won't work, but it's worth a try.

Actually a good way to fix that is to open the swkotor2.ini file and then change the display options as the same as the graphic options.

Example if you play your game at 1024x768, then change the display options:

Width=1024
Height=768

In fact, I would recommend anybody to do that with their game as it will have a much smoother transition between the game and the BINK video cut scenes.

found the solution alittle awhile ago, it was actually something to do with the widescreen mod, found a guide to stop the patcher from tampering with the BIKs

Where did you find this guide? I dont see the BIK's either.
