KotOR in Higher Resolutions?

Hey guys, I have a quick question. I have been trying to play the first KotOR game in 1280 x 1024 resolution for a while, but whenever I do it will play for a little bit and then crash. Can someone help me out? Just tell me whatever information you need from me and how to get it and I will post it up here.

You've got XP, right? The reason I ask is because the game can't ID any version of Windows past XP and just calls them XP.

Any nVidia card later than the GeForce 7 series needs the Dantooine lag fix:
