I don't like the new art style much. Call me old fashioned but I still think the old Mega drive and Master System versions looked the best.

I too prefer the Mega Drive style, but for a new sequel of my favorite childhood game trilogy, I think it doesn't look so bad. Besides, they are betting on momentum, something that characterized the Mega Drive games, and has been lacking on the last 12 years of Sonic games.
The only thing I hate is the homing attack with that red target...

Even if it's not as good as the original 3 games, it's still a metric f***ton better than anything they've released recently.

You mean it's not Sonic Gangsta Edition? Not Knuckles Streets Adventures? Not Bling-Frat Shadow the Hedgehog, Word man?
Well, it should be decent then.

It's just Sega's way of pandering to the idiocy of the current generation of youngsters. They need to be told where to go and what to do.

Hm. Retro-esque graphics, but still new style. Not that nintendo and capcom aren't doing the same (been so for years). Not sure what to think of it, except maybe it isn't as choppy looking as Acclaim games looked for PS1. Torn: Not sure which graphics of Sonic I liked best.
All gripes aside, it's actually great that they are rolling out the old foundations of modern electronic gaming in yet another franchise for another old fanbase. Hell, might even be more fun than some of the stuff we've gotten lately.
Love me, I win.
Hate me, I win.
Ignore me, I've got exactly what I wanted.
Love me or hate me, you're still thinking of me either way.
