I just installed X-Wing 95 and TIE 95. Everything seems to work except the colors for the cutscenes are wrong. I'm running on a ATI Radeon X1800 on Windows 7. Does anyone know how I can correct this? Thanks.
You simply need to kill your desktop...go to Task Manager, find the "explorer" process and end it, then for a File>Run from Task Manager and enter the path to the game's executable. To get your desktop back when you're finished playing, do another File>Run from Task Manager and enter "explorer". You need to do this because Win7 changed the API call to hide the Taskbar, which is causing the wonky colors in the old games, which don't know how to make the new API call.
