Music Mixer Prog.
Does any one know of any good free music mixing programs? I am trying to make a music CD for myself with all my favorite songs and would like for it to sound like a store bought album.

There are a few out there, though a good place to start is Audacity.

From your question, I wasn't sure if you wanted an editing program like Astro describes or just something to burn different songs. For burning, imgburn works nice and is free. If you're going to be editing tracks, try Audacity like Astro suggested.

I think maybe I am miss using the term "mixer". I was looking for a program that could possibly arrange the music in sequential (I hope that word works) order.
Example:
Most store bought albums have songs arranged so that when listened to flow with one another. Instead of having the songs be like first half of CD all upbeat, last half all slow songs.
I don't know if I'm even making any sense! I had thought the mixing music was like I tried to explain and not editing. I have editing software and burning software.

OK, you just want to make a custom cd There are many programs that can do it - even windows in built media player can burn cds.
If you like to have the option of no pauses between tracks, use a nice freeware program like cdburnerxp.

FWIW, Audacity does a great job, and has been an incredibly helpful modding tool... As for simply rearranging the order of songs on a cd, that is as simple as Astro stated - WMP can do all of that. If you dislike WMP, iTunes can also do the job, as can winamp etc... All free!!

Mixing as in 'DJ', or as in 'Studio?'
