Zarg, I was also reminded that 5 of the 7 teams the Patriots defeated since the loss to the Browns are playoff teams.

That reminds me of the 3rd and 15 that was converted... except for a last second time out called... by Lovie. Going to cost him in the playoffs

Not counting the Jets the Patriots have only played against 5 teams in the playoffs. and on average the teams in the playoffs have only played 4-6 of their games against playoff teams. So you are saying the Patriots are just an average playoff team?

My picks for the 2010 post season:
Saints/Falcons in Atlanta, Saints by 3.
Patriots/Colts in New England, Patriots by 3.
Cowboy Colessium: Patriot-Saints: 21-27 Patriots win.

Well, though CHicago has the defense to stiffle anyone, I'm not 100% sure they have the offense to get the scores to let their defense win the games. Jay Cutler is too iffy on that regard. Overall, the Saints/Falcons are better than the Bears.
The Pack has a chance, though the Eagles are going to be a pretty big roadblock.
I don't even know why the AFC even plays the games... the Patroits in Foxbourough are unstoppable. They will be in the Super Bowl this year.
I mean, what AFC team realistically has a chance against the Patriots? The Steelers offense is not as explosive as it needs to be in clutch situations, and the only other team that can pull out scores to win games in the Colts.

the pats have lost a few games this year ya know...
the saints are *very* vulnerable this year.
obviously, if the bears o line doesnt show up, cutler gets nervous and chucks picks like brett farve.
who knows how healthy vick and dj are for the eagles.
the falcons melted down against the saints at home like 2 weeks ago
i agree about the stealers, too much up and down on O, the ravens are all over the place too

The biggest downside to a week of no concerts:
Getting out of bed in the morning sucks.
It really doesn't matter what time I go to bed or fall asleep... I'm still groggy all day if I have to wake up early.

Well, I wasn't great last night (586), but I still hit my AVG+1 and ended the first half of the season where I began the season: 186 average

nice guy (relative to 'Rogue For Hire'), but really he shouldn't have messed with it, now I gotta reload everything

Saw Tron last night. It rocked!
I thought I was going to be disappointed after reading some of the mostly really negative reviews of it... but I thought it was great.
My lady started feeling icky after the film, so I let her take a nap in my bed before her long ride home. But there really wasn't any room in it for me. (It's a twin bed...) So, probably needless to say, I didn't get much rest last night.
It's gonna be a very long day...

I got 11 hours of sleep last night and still managed to completely sleep through my alarm and get up an hour late. I guess I needed it, but dang.

K_K, back to an earlier point, I said the Patriots beat 5 playoff teams after the loss to the Browns. They beat 2 other playoff teams, the Ravens and the Chargers, earlier in the season, so that makes 7 playoff teams the Patriots beat...far from "average." :P
EDIT: I just realized the Chargers didn't make the playoffs, which, along with the Hawks beating "Who Dat Nation" today in the playoffs, goes to show you how crazy this season has been.

I slept from about 7 last night until about 9:30 this morning. Ugh. But at least I don't feel sick anymore.
It's snowing out. Wonderful. I have to get to work today in it too...

upset saturday. Go 'hawks and go Jets!
As for me, I was at a curling tournament in a town of 3k with two sheets of ice, lots of food ,and lots of booze. 3 dead soldiers were accounted for. A bottle of Capt Morgan, Widsor Canadian Wiskey, DIckels whiskey, and a half a bottle of fleshmann's vodka over two nights. had a lot of fun and met some great people
Glad i get to sleep in tomorrow before football
Oh by the way, I did curl, only won our second game, and lost our 1st and third. But i did win a bottle of Bicardi Limon rum for $2 !

Elvis impersonator at work last night.
Yeah.
Easy show, and he's a super nice guy, and he's good at what he does... but really?
He had a magician with him. That guy was pretty impressive.
Spending the day with family... since we were snowed out when we were supposed to get together for Christmas this year. GF and her kids are coming too.

Why? Because that's not in the official title, and you are super-correct about these things or because you feel it is not worthy of the other Jedi Knight games?

my mother was visiting from VA for the last 10 days. Took her to the airport at 4:30 AM. Was nice to have her visit, but it is also nice to get back to "normal".
Have a "new" laptop after my old one had an untimely "accident" with some soda... repeatedly... and maybe some cleaner with bleach in it... At least my extended warranty works
Happy new year to all you degenerates!

Had a good time with the fam... even though I got totally robbed by my aunt of the super-awesome set of Sony noise canceling headphones I was aiming for in the Yankee Swap.
I got gift cards to Target and Olive Garden instead... which isn't bad, but... I'm always a sucker for any piece of high-tech tomfoolery to show up in one of those things.
Off to bed soon. Alarm set for 4am.

Can't remember if I mentioned it, but I played through Force Unleashed II. Not bad, but disappointing compared to the first - this one was shorter, simpler, and easier, and the story wasn't as good. Still, it's always fun to hurl stormtroopers to their deaths with the Force.

We need another truly AMAZING Star Wars game to be released soon.
It's been too long since the glory days of the X-Wing and Jedi Knight series.
It seems like everything since has been: "OK... but..."

Green Hornet, also know as the "Kato show" in China because of Bruce Lee.
Today at work I loaded up 2 railcars with almost 100 tons of frozen peas EACH. Going to Georgia.... perhaps to help with the epic snowstorm? make them into Snow Peas? I donno, don't care. Just rather interesting.
