Manual Uninstall
I need to uninstall a few games, but the uninstaller won't run...
I'm assuming if I just delete the game folder and delete the games registry key, it'll uninstall it, but is this safe?
Would I still be able to reinstall the game later?

That'll remove the game content and all important files, but the system will think the game is still on your drive. Best bet is to go with the "Remove Software" or whatever it's called nowadays. It's a pain waiting for it to load, but you've got few other options.

It won't uninstall like that either. I've tried everything I can think of.

Did you check to make sure your computer is plugged in?
Sorry. Couldn't resist.
Anyway, if you don't mind having the extra shortcuts still existing in your menubar, then yeah, you should be able to delete all the files. Might help to take it a step further, and remove all traces from your machine's System folder, then restarting.

Yes, I've done this before and it does work. After manually editing the registry and rebooting, it would also be a good idea to run CCleaner's registry cleaner and rebooting again, just to be sure.
