So does that suggest what I think it does? That they are scrapping all the existing speeder designs (which are almost universally horrible) and replacing them with new ones?

Just the big boats, though I don't know if they'll be replacing the boats with new ones, just taking them out. And by boats I mean the big landspeeder sized ones.

Hrmm. Sounds like they are going to make the tier 3 training even more of a killer cost too. It's already pretty hefty at 300K - seems a bit much charging more for it when there is little tangible benefit over tier 2. They really need to up the speed or something if they plan to do that.

Bleah, Silvana still has a tier 1 speeder license at lv50... :\ I guess I better get her ass in gear and get the tier 3 before it's just too expensive to.

I quite like my tier 3 speeder. Much better than those weird tier 1 speeders. Or yeah, the big boats. Horrible, those, and always blocking my view. Man, I hate them.

I'm sad cause I wanted to get at least one of the big boats just for the sake of having one... but now I won't be able to *sigh*

Where do you even get them anyway? Only one I ever recall seeing was one of those 1.5mil ones on a social vendor. There are at least 3 or 4 different models though that I recall seeing being driven around the fleet (presumably only for the purpose of being completely obnoxious).

There are also a couple that drop as loot from the final bosses of Operations. Oh and Lynk it *sounds* like they're going to be dropping the costs of them in 1.1.5 and then getting rid of them in 2.0. At least that is how I interpreted that in-character "news" post crap about how current vendor's are urged to get rid of their remaining stock, eff if I know.

If so then I'm definitely going to try and get the Commander from the VIP vendor... which means I'll have to try and do daily missions every day and space missions as well to get moneys.

I never liked the big boats anyway so not going to miss them, I totally agree with DarthParametric though the tier 3 cost is not worth the rise as very little difference from tier 2

Looks like the Korrealis Commander is 1mil instead of 1.5mil now... get em while they're "cheap"... and this update is crystal madness... the really good white ones are 2.5mil o.o
