How do we see the front of our character?

I just watched an official video about the Legacy system and noticed they show a lot of footage of the faces and fronts of characters..when i am in game i have not found a way yet to see the front of my character. In other free roam world games there is sometimes a key that holds the character in place so you can move the camera in front...

i did not figure out free cam yet...was too busy trying to advance things with the trial..so maybe this is a free cam question..but

is it possible to see the front or our character, or zoom in close? thanks

Just hold down the left mouse button and move the mouse and the camera will swivel around your character. Use the scroll wheel to zoom the camera in and out from your character.

It's as simple as that.
