Sound problems

Ive downloaded the setup to install the game on my hardware(i have a 32 bit vista) downloaded the path and the special launcher and placed the launcher in the game file.
It all works fine, except that i cant have both text and voice appear at the same time, and when i tried to unsheath my scythe at the beginneg of the game, the game froze and the scythe kept doing this odd sound over and over till i quit the game.

What to do?

Try my stuff. It's becoming awkward recommending it myself but I want to help and I think it might do the trick.
