Need help with parrots on rocks!!!

Can someone tell me if this is a game error? When I ask the truth parrot which way to go to get to the bronze hat, I can't make out what he says. He just makes this sound that's kind of like "Bawk,Bawk,Bawk". I'm confused!

are you sure you're asking the right one? try putting the 'text and voice' option on, then you can read what is said...
