Now class, todays lesson will be on commonly used commands in JED.

NOTE: TO CLEAVE YOUR LEVEL AFTER YOU ROTATED IT YOU MUST HIT COMMANDS>GRID_TO_VIEW.

Thanks Boba Rhett.

I have been messing with the tutorials from massissi and I have been going from angrily frustrated to hopefully frustrated on level editing.

I can tell this is going to take me a while to get the hang of but your notes here help out a lot!

So far I have created 2 rooms made a hallway and adjoined them and textured the walls. I started on making a door but got tired. I will try again tonight.

Thanks. Ya, some of massassis tutorials are pretty screwed up,out of date and frankly, many of them don't make much sense. It took me along time to get lots of my questions answered and now that I know them, i'm trying to make it easier for beginning level makers.

Agreed. If I learn more about Jed myslef I am thinking about writing a 'Jed for Dummies' article and put it on my site.

lol once you learn how to mess with .ai files, you'll have alot of fun. I know how to do basically everything except cogging, which i'm not even going to try to learn, 'cause i'd get headaches.
