Who’s your favorite character!??!?!?!!?/
This is aimed at Tierra de los Muertos and Lost Cause. I would add a poll to this thing, but there are too many characters and I can't remember the names anyway .
I really like that "red" guy in Tierra. The guy who died in Episode 1. Oooh, and that other guy! The guy who reaps the other guy's soul. I think.
And in Lost Cause, it's definitely Lube! Wooh.
Also: what’s your favorite episode? Mine’s Episode 1 of Tierra (not because it’s necessarily the best, just that it’s the episode that got me into this whole Nightlight malarkey in the first place). And for Lost Cause… Episode 3.

We forgive you, but make sure to read more than just the topic next time.
Also, I'm a big fan of Tomas Encion.

My favourite character is Tomas Encion. For the blindingly obvious reason that I voiced him.
And just to think, if I didn't do a drastic rewrite the night before the recording, he wouldn't have been a funny character at all.
Maybe one day I'll dig up the original uncut recording (unedited, mistakes and everything) and stick it on the shop.
Thanks for starting a thread, Gabez.

id say the best are Thomas, Mikey, Le Parca, Le Parca's pilot, Abigail, No. 2, Valora, headhunters, darth vapour, the narrator, voice of Tierra's stargate, stormbloopers, Lube, Mouldy, Leer, dude who threatens leer in a bog (toilet), nearly dead rebel , muslim and catholic dude all rank high up there, and not necessarily in that order.
They're all amazing.
(i really have no life do i)

You forgot the Great Sage.
You'll be even sadder if you remember how to spell all the characters names properly. Spelling is rather hard to discern from a radio series though.

Yes, it's 'La' (Spanish for 'Mr.')
Rather then 'Le' (French for 'The'?)

Poor Great Sage. I don't know whether to write him into the sequal or leave him out of it because Godfrey's dead.
I didn't say sequal there. Jedi mind trick. You heard nothing.

yes I think number 2 is like the hippie\slacker dude
in the tv show Sliders. I believe ther are an infinite
worlds and possibilities out there and yet number 2
looks, sounds and acts the same in all of them.

Never having seen Sliders, I'll just nod and smile and agree with you there, Darthy.
I see it like Blackadder - no matter what period of time you go to, there's always a Blackadder and always a Badric. There always has been (and probably will be) a Number 2.
Sounds like pretty much the same thing.

1) La Parca (Its his voice, its just so damn cool, and that part when he's yelling for help on the island, Priceless)
2) Narator
3) Red (Simply for the lines "Now you've gone to far, you....YOU broke the barrier of trust. You see this barrier here? Well you can't, because its no longer there. BECAUSE ITS BROKEN!!!!" Absolute most favorite line EVER)
4)Moldy Bun Balogana
5) Darth Vapor (He's got that whole, "I'm Increibly Evil, but the people I work with are idots" thing going. Probly the 2nd best Darth Vader Parody charicter, right behind Dark Helmat(Spaceballs) and in front of Darth Mario ( Super Console Wars /Check me out I'm cool\ )

LOL! Can't believe that you remembered the entire line, Adventurer.
Can you believe that I made most of that line up while we were performing? Everything after 'you broke the barrier of trust' was just coming out off the top of my head.
Also glad to see that from your top 5, I did three of the voices.
As for Darth Vapour working with complete idiots... it gets worse. Much worse...

My favourite line is probably Creepios "It's both disturbing and educational." Classic. Coincedently (or however you youths spell it these days with your new fangled dictionaries) that line comes from my favourite Lost Cause episode.
Oh wow. Hey I just realised how to change font colour and stuff. Wooooohooooooo. You learn something new every day.

Ah yes, favourite quotes. The trouble is, I have so many! But this stood out in the first part for me:
“Do I look like an idiot to you?”
“Isn’t that a rhetorical question?”
It's the perfect answer to any question.

It is true, Lost Cause and Tierra de los Muertos are stuffed full of great one liners.
"Thats not a Giant Mutated Lobster with a taste for Plaster(is it plaster? Some say Pasta)! Thats a Space Station!"

Yes, it's Pasta, not Pasta. Although the line was originally 'that's not a giant mutated hamster who bears a startling resemblance to George Michael'

My favourite lines from Tierra must be:
"Probably lucky I orderred the milkshake"
and:
"Testing. Unos Duos Tres" said by Mikey after No. 2 falls through stargate.
P.S. Just out of curiosity, how did you get from 'that's not a giant mutated hamster who bears a startling resemblance to George Michael' to what is in the final piece. Is it only me who thinks that is more than one giant leap.

I'm not too sure. But I used the 'George Michael' line in a previous radio show called 'The Prime Minister's New Groove' and didn't want to reuse it. I came up with something different.

Tierra de los Muertos and Lost Cause are the only ones that have made it onto the site so far. But I've been doing radio plays off and on since about 1999. I'm considering offering a half hour special called 'The Howard Christmas Carol' in the ship as we get closer to Christmas, but there probably won't be anything old available for download.
Just a comment about the line 'Do I look like an idiot to you, isn't that a rhetorical question'... that's probably one of the few lines that survived from the original script that I wrote back in 2000, titled 'Tales From the Land of the Dead'. I've managed to track it down on backup CDs, it'll be on the CD release.
