I want to see a more interactive website. This would be for two reasons, increased amount of enjoyment on the website, and it would make contacting you, for example, more convenient. Both factors would ensure that I become a regular visitor.
I'd also like to see a better layout for the art and other fan fiction, with a more convenient systen of uploading work.
Anyone got Mr Prunty's number?

My mistake - uploading automatically is fine. I was just giving feedback.

How about flash games, each like mini adventure game itself?
Or how about a MI fan comic, with one continuing storyline, but every page is made by different artists so we have a comic that doesn't make much sense and varies greatly in visual quality/style! That'd be funny

I'm totally up for it, I haven't done anything for the BSBC in a while (excluding PS) and as a artist on staff i think I should do something... sometime... Like the trees I did for the treasure hunt! They were the best trees EVER! And don't say other wise because I love my trees...

I wouldn't mind contributing either. The only problem is that the comic will have to be done sequentially, one page after another, in order to maintain *some* continuity - which will take planning, not to mention time.
So how would it work? I don't know... maybe someone (like Blaze_Marley-Flamestrike) can post the first page, then leave the comic open until there's a taker for the second page, and once the second page's done and posted, find a taker for the next page, and so on... This could be a weekly thing.

Maybe someone could start a story and then the person who is going to do the second page can follow the story up which ever way they want

Exactly! The story would be full of spontaneous and unpredictable twists and turns, it's bound to generate some interest. I think it could add much entertainment value to BSBC.

Yes, that would indeed be great fun. You can count me in, although I'm not a great comic artist (that's an understatement, I'm terrible ).

Ok, I will start this feature as part of the new features section when the BSBC returns on the 8th of March. Who's our first artist - you'll be starting our story Come on, don't be shy - speak up! Put down your name if you would like to be an artist too so I'll know who's going to draw stuff in the future (or don't tell me if you want to keep yourself secret).

um, wow, okay, umm, (wow, huge responisibility here, first page and all). okay, so taking in the fact that this is meant to be a Monkey island based comic (and i'm guessing had to star guybrush threepwood) is there any particular story you'd like me to start with, or just do whatever comes to mind (keeping it simple and therefore open for manipulation by others)? i'll wait till tomorrow before an answer, otherwise i'll just start. also an email adress of where i can send the page would be handy. thanx

sorry about the lateness, i've been ill recently (flu ) and now i'm being shipped off to the army in Vietnam so expect the cover and page in a couple of years.
lol, only kidding, i'm not going anywhere. and just for you, i did the pages. i didn't know where to send them so i just hosted them on my geocities site (don't worry, i can link off it, i found out how), ahem, the site being http://www.geocities.com/mimovie, but that's irrelevent and cheap advertising, but hey, i'm not complainging.
heres the coverpage
http://www.geocities.com/mimovie/comiccoverpage.html
and heres the first page.
http://www.geocities.com/mimovie/comic_page_1.html
(just click it, no copying or pasteing needed!)
hope ya like, it's all yours from now on.
also, just my personal opinion, but i think that we should all use our own style of drawing and stuff, this way we can have a really varied comic, no sense in copying someone elses style because it fits, just my opinion.
well, enjoy (remember, it's only the first page so it's allowed to have not very much on it, the drawings a little sketchy, but that';s what i was going for and i think i ;let enough of it open for whatever zany plots people want to come up with.)

Hey Junaid, you should explore these forums a lot more, there are some very nice people around here who'd love to talk to you.
By the way, I love your artwork on Worldofmi, it's great, keep up the good work.

**cough** okay, I’m gonna have to step in here and give another couple of sites which people seem to overlook.
http://www.mimayhem.com
Okay, so it was great before Christmas when something dreadful happened to it and we lost it for a while, and in her attempt to make it better than ever, Yoga hasn't quite finished it yet.
but it's got a good (if somewhat deserted) forum which you can't access from the main page as yet, but here's the link, the forum is in full working order, it's just the rest of the site which needs some help, but please remember, she is actually a great web designer and web design is her job, where as this site is just her hobby, so you can't expect her to work on it all day every day.
Anyway, here's the link to the forums.
http://www.mimayhem.com/forums/index...04d646ad5558ff
There is also loads of fan sites out there to do with mi (most of which can be found on the monkey island wearing, will get the link later), this being one of them, http://www.geocities.com/mimovie
Ahem, I um... really like this site, **cough**
also, mymipage, it may be a lot to ask, and you don't have to do this if you don't want to, but is there any way we could comment on each page of the comic, I really have a few things I’d like to say about Pacos brilliant page, I love it! Especially the Gilbert reference. But you don't have to if you don't want to, just a suggestion.
