Just curious, are you guys gonna tweak the saber glows to be smoother (like Perfect Ep II Sabers) and smoothen the trails?

If you look at the sabers thru True View, you'll see that the glow is very lumpy. I think Raven didn't blur it enough..

imo smoothening the saber glow will give an awesome experience for true view fans like me

We'll see. We're probably going to fix the gfx to look more movielike but we haven't considered if the saber effects will be included in that.

If you're going for movie accuracy, the lightsabers are definetly something that needs work.

Here are the ones i'm working on, maybe just to give you some inspiration, or a sense of direction if nothing else...

I'm not quite finished with the saber trail as some of the edges still need smoothing out...but, overall i like how they turned out.

The ones Raven did are ass

you know this mod called SFX2? that mod brought out the movie fealing to the effects, the lightsabers were awsome and even the laser fire looked realy cool! you should take a look at that, you may want to see if you can get hold of the stuff.
